We usually recommend that your structure is installed on either a 4 to 6 inch gravel base for drainage or a concrete slab.

However, the carports and metal garages can go on the ground if it is allowed by local building codes. Please check with your local building department to see what is allowed in your area.

The site where your structure will be installed must be within 3 to 4 inches of level.
